At Pinkerton Psychotherapy, we believe that humans are relational in nature and have the innate ability to heal and transform.
Therapy is sacred work, brave work, and rewarding work. Choosing the “right” support is one of the most critical components to manifesting change. Transformation requires courage, vulnerability, and ample amounts of self-compassion. I believe in your ability transform by doing the work of confronting fear and release what is limiting you to embrace your highest potential.
I am passionate about the work I do and seek live out the work I invite my clients to do in my own life. Having experienced my own share of emotional work, I understand the courage, strength, and grace required for change.
I work from a holistic, experiential, attachment based, trauma informed perceptive. I function as a space holder, guide, and secure base for you as you explore, process, and unravel the inner and outer workings of your emotional, mental, physical spiritual being. I utilize therapeutic modalities that function to get to the root of problematic issues to release that which is no longer serves you and empower you to live authentically and presently.
Currently I work with individuals ages 12+, adults, families with teen or adult children, and couples. Client concerns/presenting problems I treat include complex trauma, PTSD, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, grief, attachment and relationship issues, codependency, life-transitions, and couples seeing enhanced emotional intimacy. I offer EMDR, goal orientated coaching, experiential psychotherapy, meditative practices, and spiritual exploration.
Together we will set and meet treatment goals, explore, and release unresolved/traumatic experiences, unhealthy relationships, and problematic behavior/patterns that has kept you stuck in painful cycles.
I received my master’s in science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of St. Thomas in Houston after working in the field of finance and accounting for several years. I am currently a Licensed professional Counselor Associate working under the supervision of Christopher Broyles, M.S., LPC-S.
I hope to join you in this inspiring process of transformation and to witness the power that already exists in you. I am excited for the relief, healing, and blessings to come in choosing to invest in yourself at Pinkerton Psychotherapy.
