If you feel like things are harder these days, you aren’t alone.
You’re trying to balance it all, keep your head above water, and make it look easy – after all – everyone else makes it look easy. The problem is that in doing it all, you’ve forgotten to notice your feelings, let alone feel them, and you find that they sneak up on you when you aren’t expecting them.
I aim to provide a non-judgmental space where you can take time to attend to you instead of everyone else. Everyone needs a space to let their guard down.
There is power in saying the difficult things out loud. In my work with my clients, we explore the things that may feel too big or scary to say and come to find that once we voice them, we can work on making them better. We’ll create a space where it is safe to examine your thoughts and feelings – and then you can decide what you keep and what you throw away.
I am a mom of two and fully licensed professional counselor. I have extensive experience with adolescents, parents, and families. I work with clients who are struggling with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, parenting – particularly parenting high needs kids, ADHD, LGBTQ+ issues, and other concerns.
I approach therapy from a person-centered lens, meaning we will tailor your therapy to your needs. I strongly believe that you already have what you need to overcome any obstacle you face. Sometimes you just need someone to help you see that.
