How to Incorporate Meditation into your Life

Meditation has been a known practice that dates back to 1500 BCE. It began as a way to connect to one’s deeper self, and it is still useful for that purpose. Meditation can give you a sense of peace and balance that can benefit your physical and mental health. Meditation promotes being intentional and focused with a calm inner voice.

Practicing meditation brings many questions like “what type is right for me?” and “how do I do it?”. Here are a few tips and recommendations to answer those questions.

  4. Mantra meditation- focuses on a repetitive sound, word, or phrase to help clear the mind
  5. Progressive relaxation- focuses on reducing tension in the body and promoting relaxation
