At Pinkerton Psychotherapy, whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues, or just need an LGBTQ+ affirming listener, I am here to help.

My journey into the field of counseling started with a passion to help young people as a school counselor. I am also driven by a fundamental belief that quality mental healthcare is a human right – not a privilege.

I am committed to breaking down the financial and systemic barriers that often prevent individuals from seeking the support they deserve. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients from all walks of life feel seen, heard, and empowered to navigate life’s complexities.

I utilize an integrative approach tailored to the unique needs of each client, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of healing. By fostering a collaborative environment, I help clients identify their strengths, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and foster lasting resilience. I am particularly passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community.

I hold a Master of Education degree in school counseling from Lamar University. I am continuously refining my skills and staying current with evidence-based practices to ensure the highest standard of care for my clients. In my spare time, I enjoy utilizing my undergraduate degree of a Bachelor of Music by playing piano and singing. I also enjoy playing video games, watching horror movies, working out, and socializing with friends.
