At Pinkerton Psychotherapy, whether you’re navigating trauma, life transitions, emotional challenges, or simply looking for a safe space to feel heard and understood, I am here to support you as you move toward healing, growth, and a deeper understanding of yourself.

I am a clinical intern at Pinkerton Psychotherapy and a graduate student pursuing my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Sam Houston State University. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Houston.

I have experience working with adults and adolescents from a variety of backgrounds, and I am particularly interested in supporting women and trauma survivors. My approach to counseling is collaborative and client-led because I believe you are the expert on your own experiences. I draw primarily from person-centered theory while incorporating cognitive-behavioral strategies based on each client’s individual needs.

In session, I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, accepted, and comfortable being themselves. My counseling style is conversational, and I love incorporating humor when it feels right. I strongly believe that counseling doesn’t need to feel formal or clinical. Meaningful work begins with simply feeling comfortable enough to talk openly with someone who genuinely listens and accepts you.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy watching horror movies, baking cakes, and spending time with my partner and our two dogs.

If you’re looking for a space where you can feel accepted and heard while you work toward growth, healing, and a greater understanding of yourself, I’d love the opportunity to work with you.
